High Atlas and Mgoun Ascent Itinerary
Arrival at the airport in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel or Riad.
Transfer by road to Demnate, we visit the natural bridge of “Imi n’Ifri”, then we continue to reach the Tassaout valley, we continue toward an amazing village of Megdaz, the best one in the high Atlas, after visiting this village we go back to Ait Ali N’Itto village where we will spend our night in a lodge.
We continue our hiking in Tassaout valley, passing over several villages « Ait Hamza, ichbaken imi n’ikess … » .Arrival at the village of Tasgaiwalte. Dinner and Overnight in the camp.
We climb a beautiful pass of « Assderme » at 3100m, with overlooking the Tassaoute valley, we cross a plateau, then arrival at Tarkddite. Dinner and Overnight in the camp at 2900m.
Departure early morning, we climb one of the most famous mountains in morocco, MGoun (4071 m), from where we can enjoy nice views over the Ait Bouguemez Valley. Then we descend to our camp (2600 m). Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Walking along the Oulilimte valley, where we can meet the nomads living in there caves, stop for lunch, afternoon continuation to our bivouac at 2200 m near Aflafal sources. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Beautiful walk in the ouzighemte valley, passing by cultures and Berber villages. Bivouac at 2033m in wawchki village. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
We go for a nice rise of “D +1510 m” to Igroulne pass (3500 m) to cross Wawgolzate Mountain, then go down to the plateau of Izoughar Bivouac at 2600 m. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
we cross the plateau of izoughar “the meeting place between the nomads of Ait bouguemez and Ait Atta », we reach the first village of Zaouit, stop for lunch, and the afternoon is a free time. Dinner and overnight in lodge.
Beautiful walk between gardens crossing Ait Bougumez valley, from village to village in order to reach the last one of our stage is Ait Ziri. Dinner and Overnight in Dar Afra
Free day in our village and stay quiet in this nice erea, may you can walk around, exempl walk up to Sidi Chita summit, one of the panoramic view over this beautiful valley. Dinner and Overnight in Dar Afra.
Transfer by Azilal to Ouzoud Cascades (Waterfalls), stop for lunch, then continuation to Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel or Riad.
Day dedicated to Marrakech, visit the medina or just stay in your accommodation enjoing a very rolaxing Hammam. Overnight at the hotel or Riad.
Transfer to the Marrakech airport.
