Climbing Mgoun Summit
We invite you to discover the region of mgoun massif nestled in the heart of the Atlas mountains, where the Berber traditional life is still untouched despite the arrival of electricity and the tarred road. The houses are assembled around the “Tighremt” and form hamlets nestled on arid slopes. We offer a program adapted to your physical conditions to reach the Mgoun summit and have excellent memories of your trip.

Itinerary
Arrival at Marrakech Airport and transfer to you hotel or Riad.
Transfer to the East via Azilal and the beautiful valleys of the Central Atlas mountains, arrival at Abachkou the starting point of our trek where we meet the muleteers then walk to Rougoulte village. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
We climb gradually the Valley of “Assif n‘daghour”, with gardens and sheepfold, lunch on a small plateau.In the afternoon, we move towards our camp via Rougoulte pass (2500 m). Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
We climb to the Assderm pass at 3100m where we will enjoy a nice view of the Tassaoute valley, then cross a plateau to reach our camp in Tarkddite bivouac at 2900m. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Departure early morning, we climb one of the most famous mountains in morocco, MGoun (4071 m), from where we can enjoy nice views towards the Sahara. Then we descend to our camp (2600 m). Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
We descend into the Arouss gorges, then passing by a few berber villages to arrive at the beautiful valley of Ait Bouguemez it is also known as « Happy Valley ». Dinner and overnight at Dar Afra guest house.
Transfer to Marrakech by the same tarred road, lunch at Ouzoud cascades (Waterdalls), then we carry on driving to Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel.
