Saghro Mountain and Draa Valley Hiking

Transfer and overnight at the hotel.

Transfer by Minibus via the Road of the Roses valley, Dades Valley which we will visit on our traverse and we end our day in Tagdilte village at the foot of the mountain of Jabel Saghro. We meet our mule team with their mules, after loading our luggage we leave for 1-hour walk to reach our first camsite. * 5 hours drive, 1h walking. * Overnight camping

We begin our journey by an arid plateau dotted with small oasis of almond trees, oleander … we then tackle a climb to the Pass of IFARD at 2450 m of altitude. Very nice view of the Dades valley and M’goun Mountains befor we stop for our lunch. In the afternoon we descend on the way to Almou N` Ouarg (2300 m). * 5h30m to 6h. * Overnight camping

Spectacular journey, starting with a climb to reach the highest peak of the course, the Kouaouch 2600m, then long descent with a nice overview of the mountains (Atlas and Sarho) lunch at Tassigdelt then we continue the descent into a beautiful rocky framework, we set up our camp in the small Oasis of Igli (1700 m). * 6h walking * Overnight camping

We’re off to a great day strolling through the beautiful gorges of Afourar which houses some villages made out of mad with tiny terraces, lunch at the exit of the gorge near by the water. In the afternoon we get the local transport to reach the village of Nkoub. Night and dinner in a beautiful Kasbah. * 5h walking * 1h 30min driving about 22 km * Night in a beautiful Kasbah

Minibus transfer via the road of the Daraa valley, the road winds up till Zagora amidst beautiful palm groves and ancient villages. Meet our team Camel in Nsrat village lunch on the way. Short walk 1 h 30 between dunes and palm. * 1h 30min walk * Overnight camping at the foot of the dunes

We pass Nasrate dunes and a large plateau, before arriving to the oasis and the village of Sidi Salah. Lunch at the village exit. In the afternoon we will walk through the dunes till we get to our campsite * 5 h 30 walk * Overnight camping

We leave the dunes of Erg Sahel full course west for a nice step in a Saharian universe, crossing open spaces dotted with residues of old pottery, arriving to the dunes of Erg Lahniti lunch on the way to the camp. * 5h 30mn walking. Overnight camping.

We cross the dunes of Lahniti and daraa to join the largest palm grove of Oulad Driss, we recover our transport and return to Ouarzazate via Zagora.
